Japan to Adopt Automaker Inspections

By next Summer, according to a team of the Japanese Transport Ministry, Japan will adopt an unannounced inspection system for automakers after some industry misconducts in having unauthorized workers inspect finished vehicles.

The system will allow the Ministry to instruct automakers to take necessary steps in case of suspicions over their practices and effective measures to suspend auto sales by the automakers that do not take the required steps.
